Where Are You?

Where Are You?

Good afternoon,

Well I was hoping to have a different song ready to upload this week, but I haven't been able to finish off either Bohemian Athenian or the final version of Please and we're quite a ways off on the other two songs still. (They're written just not recorded yet). So I've posted the almost completed version of Where Are You?. For those of you that have been following along, Yes this is the same song I put up back in November, so it's not really a debut, but rather a hint of things to come. As things currently stand I believe that Where Are You? shall be track four on the Disagreements ep, right before Please. Without that context it might seems rather downbeat compared to our other songs, however, in the flow it is a rather dramatic song and kind of makes sense with the other four songs.

We've both been really busy these past few weeks and finding time to record the parts has been a bit challenging. Isabelle's been creating her summer line, and I've been recording the Sex With Strangers follow up album as well as other projects. The clothes are looking really good and the SWS songs are becoming really quite incredible. I think their full length is going to shock people: it's quite surprising and very very cool. We're talking about doing a few club mixes for it as well, but we're going to have to see if time permits.

The band is almost ready to perform again and we'll be learning the new songs this week too; it's going to a lot of fun to see how we pull off the songs with the new line up. Hopefully we can book a show in town before we head off to England. Speaking of which, anyone got a good room we should play in the UK? We're open to recommendations, so let up know. Just the two of us on this time out, we'll be doing acoustic versions, and then hopefully if interest develops we'll bring the whole band over for the next one!

That's it for now, gotta get back to work if we want to finish this ep off by the end of the month! Thanks for reading, hope you're well. Salut!
