Amnesia CD release paty tonight!

We are really excited about tonight at The Fox Cabaret. We hit the stage at &:45 sharp and perform all the songs from our brand new album Amnesia.  It's been a good year for us creatively and we are all quite proud of the new music. If you're in Vancouver please join us for a great night of music with our friend Skaboom closing the evening with a set of classic ska tunes to make us all dance!  Amnesia is also out today on most other streaming sites (excepting Spotify which is the one site I find to be unethical). So look us up on Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, or pretty much anywhere that doesn't rip off the artists that upload onto their streaming platforms! You can also get the CD directly from us by emailing combinethevictorious@gmail.com. I'll be happy to put one in the post for you!

New album is done! Amnesia

We are very excited to announce we have completed our new full length album and have begun the process of finalizing the art for its release! The album is titled "Amnesia" and features nine songs, including the title track Amnesia. The wistfulness of Monsoon Afternoon and Amnesia are matched with the darkness and intensity of Long-term Solution and Pick Up the Pieces. We have opted to add in a few of our favourite singles from the past year as well, with I Really Like Yout Style, Awkward Connect and Danser tout le temps appearing to round out the sound.   It will be available in early November on some streaming sites and wil...

The Clock is Ticking

Isabelle and I are feverishly working to complete the recording of our next full length album.  So far we've compiled over thirty five different song ideas, but more keep arriving with each session.  This past week we played out first show as a duo since we got back from Europe in 2012.  It went extremely well, though of course the energy was different from when the band performed as a four or five piece.  The extra room sonically allowed us to really explore the electronic side of our sound, and of course inspired another way to present our material. As it looks right now we'll be including a few re-imagined songs from previous releases amid the new material, all to be put onto vinyl for the final release.  We've been speaking with Boutique Empire artists Robert Edmonds about the art work and we're quite excited to see what he creates for the album. So much to do!  Gotta get back into the studio. Thx for reading Mark
